Kids, pets, wagons, costumes, and small-town fun! The Wag-on Walk Kiddie Parade returns Friday, July 17, 2026, at Bohemia Park as one of Bohemia Mining Days’ sweetest family traditions.
The Wag-on Walk Kiddie Parade gives children and families a chance to be part of Bohemia Mining Days in their own special way. The name celebrates wagons, walking, wagging tails, costumes, kids, families, and plenty of festival fun.
Signup and staging will take place in the gravel parking lot south of Bohemia Park. The parade will follow a simple, family-friendly walking route through Bohemia Park before returning near the staging area.
Pets are welcome, but must be well-mannered, leashed, and under control at all times. Please bring water and use good judgment during hot July weather.
The Grand Miners Parade is the larger downtown parade on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. through Historic Downtown Cottage Grove.
