We had a great time at the Twinberry Commons fundraiser on April 26! From food trucks and vendors to live music and a delicious dinner by Branch Road Farm, it was a fun and meaningful day in support of the Cottage Grove Public Market and the future Commons space.
We’re grateful to Twinberry Commons and everyone who made the event a success — it was an honor to be part of it!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Kids Heritage Fair on May 23! Hosted in partnership with Family Relief Nursery, the event was a joyful afternoon filled with hands-on history, crafts, games, storytelling, and community fun.
It was a wonderful way to kick off the Bohemia Mining Days season and celebrate Cottage Grove’s heritage with our youngest citizens.
We’re especially grateful to all the families, volunteers, and partners who helped make it a success — and to the kids who reminded us why this tradition matters.

I got my start at Bohemia Mining Days in 2019 with the Jail Cell Photobooth and helped with the Art Show we hosted that year. Each year since, the Jail Cell Photobooth has been a favorite among the citizens of Cottage Grove. In 2024, I stepped up to lead the Spirit of BMD celebration to ensure the event continued. Now, I am the Executive Director of Spirit of Bohemia Mining Days, a nonprofit dedicated to celebrating Cottage Grove's history, fostering community engagement, and inspiring future leaders through the annual festival and year-round initiatives.
