Forest Mountain Lion is a musician originally from Cottage Grove.

He creates lyric-driven "animist folk rock" that brings together themes of love, the invulnerable human spirit, the power of local community, and resistance to exploitative industrial systems. Windy Ridge is a four-piece ensemble whose threads are deeply woven into the
fabric of Cottage Grove’s music history.

Three of the founding members have been
playing together for nearly fifty years and the newest member, drummer Brad, has
nearly ten years with the band under his belt. The band delivers an eclectic brew of
music ranging from Rock and Roll, Country Rock, with a little blues and
Americana thrown in. Popular covers and original music fill out a set list that has
something for everyone. The bands members are David Munsell-guitar and lead
vocals, Joe Tennis-lead guitar and vocals, Ken Bachelder-bass and vocals and Brad
Helsel-drums and vocals. They are proud to be back at Bohemia Days and look
forward to seeing everyone. Show less

Start Your Saturday with a Sip and a Song

Looking for a relaxing way to ease into the excitement of Spirit of Bohemia Mining Days? Swing by Coiner Park on Saturday morning, where Bittle Brew Coffee will begin serving up fresh, locally roasted coffee starting at 9:00 AM.

Whether you’re an early riser or just need a little boost before the parade kicks off, this is the perfect time to enjoy a warm cup of Joe in good company.

Settle into the morning with live acoustic tunes by the Silk Creek Singers, whose smooth harmonies will create a cozy, laid-back vibe under the trees. It’s a great chance to catch up with friends, people-watch, or just savor a moment of calm before the festive chaos begins.

Bring your mug, bring your smile—and we’ll see you bright and early in the park! Show less

One More Time Marching Band

Time: 11:00 AM

Location: Gazebo, Coiner Park

The One More Time Marching Band (OMT) has been a Eugene-area institution since 1986.

The band got its start playing in the Eugene Celebration parade, and parades have remained close to our hearts. But we've also come to love playing at concerts in the parks, at baseball games, and at all kinds of community celebrations. The affairs of the band are managed by the One More Time Band Council.

and played together for many years in country and blues bands in the area. Around 2005, Colleen and Tom Ellis moved to town and started playing in coffee shops and met Larry. The idea to play as a group soon took hold and The Huckleberrys came to be. Of course, it was the “I’m your huckleberry” from Tombstone that gave us the name!

For years the band played all over the Willamette Valley having a great time, then in 2016, Jeff got in a serious accident and had to drop out. Nathan Smith joined to play bass and keep the music going... and have some fun with the Huckle folk. Nathan had played mandolin on the CD and knew most of the music.

In 2018, Nathan left the Huckleberrys as his work as a music/recording teacher became his focal point. Our good friend, Neil Isaacson (who had done mastering on the original version of the Huck CD), who has played bass in many bluegrass, Celtic, and country bands… became the Huckleberry bass player. And on we go!

2024 came along, and The Huckleberrys started growing again! We asked Luke Lillard to come and play mandolin and sing with us... and Charles Sales with his wonderful harmonica.
